Though there was some speculation surrounding whether or not the show would nail the right tone of the Netflix series that preceded it or even of the character in general considering it was the Man Without Fear’s first series on Disney’s streaming service, Daredevil: Born Again became the biggest Disney+ launch of 2025 with 7.5 million views worldwide in its first five days of streaming availability this past week after the first two episodes launched on March 4th.
Because Disney+ doesn’t routinely disclose viewership numbers on its streaming shows direct comparisons are tough to make at the time of this writing but other noteworthy shows on the streaming service that have been released in 2025 thus far include Paradise, starring Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden and Sarah Shahi, which drew 7 million views over its first 9 days of viewership, as well as Goosebumps: The Vanishing, starring Friends star David Schwimmer; Nat Geo’s A Real Bug’s Life Season 2; animated Spider-Man series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and Pixar’s Win Or Lose.
New episodes of Daredevil: Born Again will debut on Disney+ at 9PM EST for the following two weeks. Episodes 5 and 6 will release together and then the show will resume debuting one episode per week until the season final with Episode 9 on April 15th.
The show, which once again follows the exploits of blind lawyer/superhero vigilante Matt Murdock/Daredevil and his arch-nemesis Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, the latter of whom has seemingly shifted from a criminal overlord to a shrewd New York politician.
Daredevil: Born Again sees Charlie Cox return as Daredevil, alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Zabryna Guevara as Detective Nunez, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk/Kingpin’s wife and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher.
