Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: Spider-Gwen cosplay by Faelia

We’ve already featured an amazing Spider-Gwen cosplay by OMGCosplay but this one by Boise, Idaho native Faelia is even truer to the version of the character from the hit animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse than we thought possible; not only does Faelia rock Spider-Gwen’s trademark white, black and purple costume — she also duplicates Spider-Gwen’s look right down to the eye color, freckles and hairstyle.

I don’t want it to be *too* big – definitely some extra prints and fun stuff like that, but I do want something slightly bigger for the top tier winner at least. I’ve thought about some sort of collectible and other goodies, or I even had the idea to make it some sort of hand made (by me) prop piece of your choosing! Nothing too huge, just small to medium size. Spider-Gwen is from an alternate universe. The Spider-Man that we know and love is from Earth-616; Spider-Gwen is from Earth-65. Her enemies include Earth-65 versions of Matt Murdock (Daredevil in the 616 universe) and Frank Castle (Punisher in the 616 universe) both of whom are evil in her dimension.

Spider-Gwen’s webshooters were created by retired crimefighter Janet van Dyne, otherwise known as the Wasp in Earth-616.

I’m trying to decide what kind of cosplay thing I want to do this weekend 🤔 I usually try to do at least one cosplay related thing every week (that’s why there’s been so many closet cosplays lately lmao) but I’m not sure if I want to do another character/makeup look or actually start crafting some props and armor again. I feel like I should probably do the latter in potential prep for ECCC since I always wait too long to start 😂 I can really only work well when I’m on a deadline, even though it stresses me tf out
